Out on a Limb

“The year is 1899. Rosa May, a former madam, lives alone in a remote cabin--all that remains of her once glamorous, now long shattered life. Her son Jonah is a reformed cowboy/outlaw who has been processing the trauma of his family under the tutelage of Swami Vivekananda. After a winter away in the sunny boom town of Los Angeles, Jonah returns home with a plan to rescue his mother from her isolation and misery."

“Out on a Limb is an original twist on the classic Western. A smart and engaging meditation on coming to terms with our violent pasts while forging a new road with Eastern influences, I guarantee you’ve never seen a short film or Western like this before.”
