Left-behind boy "Zhang" and his friends plan to kill and extort another left-behind child, "Wang." However, after experiencing the sensation of death, Zhang hesitates during the act. And wang,unable to endure their endless torment, ultimately takes his own life. In the end, Zhang gets the extorted money and leaves the village to find his father working away, but remains deeply oppressed inside.
