Christmas is a time for connection. But for first-time father Sam, it’s also a time of massive adjustment as he attempts to bond with his newborn son, George.

From keeping him happy to getting him to sleep, Sam really tries his best, however a sense of failure stalks him at every turn as small mistakes become daily defeats. But when an urgent shopping trip for nappies sees him leaving empty-handed, Sam spirals and gives himself a dark ultimatum:
