A bittersweet science fiction tale.
With his body seriously failing, 24yr old Lenny Blake sends out an SOS to his alien friend AL, to come and take him to see the wonders of the Universe. Lenny sets off to a pre-arranged launch site with his talisman, a model spaceship called AL1EN, and waits and waits and waits. But when AL’s spaceship is struck by space junk and he fails to turn up, Lenny abandons his spaceship and all hope.
