Gan ddechrau ym mis Mawrth 2025, mae ardaloedd mawr o ddyfroedd arfordirol De Awstralia wedi cael eu dinistrio gan flodeuo algâu niweidiol, gan arwain at farwolaethau torfol niferoedd dirifedi o bysgod, infertebratau a bywyd morol arall. Mae'r achosion yn gymhleth ond mae pob un yn deillio o effeithiau diamheuol newid hinsawdd anthropogenig.
Mae'r fideo hwn wedi'i wneud o ddelweddau o bysgod sydd wedi cael eu lladd gan y blodeuo ac wedi'u golchi i fyny ar draethau ar hyd ochr ddwyreiniol Gwlff St Vincent. Crëwyd y sain o samplau a gymerwyd o fideos o bysgod byw, crancod a sgwid a recordiwyd ar draeth Seacliff, De Awstralia, ym mis Ionawr - Chwefror 2025, cyn i'r blodeuo daro. Y testun yw'r hyn y gallai'r pysgod ei ddweud wrthym, pe gallent...
Beginning in March 2025, large areas of South Australian coastal waters have been devastated by a harmful algal bloom, leading to mass mortalities of uncountable numbers of fish, invertebrates and other marine life. The causes are complex but all arise from the unmitigated effects of anthropogenic climate change.
This video has been made from images of fish that have been killed by the bloom and washed up on beaches along the eastern side of Gulf St Vincent. The audio was created from samples taken from videos of living fish, crabs and squid recorded at Seacliff beach, South Australia, in January - February 2025, before the bloom hit. The text is what the fish might say to us, if only they could...
